The Essence of Affirmations

Written by Bill October 10, 2017

Affirmations for children work extremely well, and in fact, affirmations build their reality and mold them into who they will become.  Through Christy Whitman life coach, we will learn and understand empowering beliefs that we can instill in our children and create a solid foundation for them to build on.

Affirmations can really help engrain your child with positive thoughts and positive energy, and they can really help build and strengthen your child’s confidence and self-worth. Nonetheless, we cannot raise powerful kids when we are controlled by our own negative thoughts, beliefs and emotions.  Join Quantum Success Coaching Academy with Christy Whitman to learn the Universal Laws that will help us transform into powerful individuals and become empowered parents as well.

Depending on your child’s age, you can start by telling them, “You’re great” or You’re awesome” when they do something that should be awarded. And as your kids grow, have them say, “I am great” when they do something that warrants a reward. Or when your child is afraid doing something, let them say “I am courageous”, “I can do it” until it become real to them. QSCA Christy Whitman offers a simple yet effective formula to empower our children as they grow and reach different periods in their lives.

When a child can take an affirmation and then say, “I am great,” it goes in and becomes the belief that they create in their lives. When you practice it with them regularly, you don’t need to tell them what to say. They know, they feel it, and most importantly, they believe it.

However, it is very crucial that we use affirmations that are appropriate to our children because the influence is much greater when the statements are comfortable, relevant and significant to them. The words themselves don’t have power; it’s the energy and belief that makes them work.  Learn more about child rearing and training through Christy Whitman coaching.

We can praise our kids all day long, but that’s nothing in comparison to our kids internalizing it and believing it themselves. That’s the essence of affirmations.
